Fern and her sister Charlotte were our first registered Alpines on the farm.  We purchased them as bottle babies in the spring on 2019.  We have watched Fern grow up into a lovely Alpine doe.  Although she is on the small side for an alpine, she has a level topline and a nice udder. Her udder has a great medial and she has nice attachments that should keep her producing well as she ages. Her teats are well positioned with large orifices that make milking her out by hand a short task. She is our favorite to milk!  Fern has freshened three times producing both mini alpine and standard alpine kids.  She consistently puts 3/4 gallon in the milk bucket daily when not feeding kids.
